Modified Duties is a series and experience Jordan designed based off an getting an injury at work and being confined at home. It tells the story of her working through mental health struggles, dealing with the bureaucracy of the medical system as an L&I patient and the healing parts of her journey as well. Growth and healing are not linear processes and this interactive exhibit is designed to reflect that as well. Quote from Jordan: "I want to do more than show my art, I want to create an experience with it that is commentary and something others can relate to or perhaps, develop empathy for. All of us will be disabled at some point in our lives, and experience the pounds of paperwork, the phone calls, the endless string of referrals and appointments. All of us will need coping strategies and community to work through those tough and ridiculous experiences."
